BRIGHTON AND HOVE OPERATIC SOCIETY PRESENTED THE SOUTH EAST AMATEUR PREMIERE OF

 at the
Theatre Royal, Brighton from 28th June to 2nd July 2005

Summer Holiday is a fun musical romp through the colourful and sexy 60s! Four friends (played in the movie by Cliff Richard and The Shadows) decide to spend the summer driving across Europe in a converted double-decker bus. Along the way, they rescue a gang of girls whose car has broken down, then discover a boy hidden on board. When the young stowaway is revealed as a female pop star on the run from her pushy mother and larger-than-life showbiz agent, chaos ensues and you have all the ingredients for a lively, entertaining evening!

This show is packed with all the great songs from the Cliff era, Livin' Doll, Bachelor Boy, In The Country, I Could Easily Fall in Love With You, Move It, Do You Wanna Dance, The Young Ones, On The Beach and of course, the title song, Summer Holiday!
