CARDBOARD BOX THEATRE

THEATRE: MADE BY KIDS

Cardboard Box Theatre by BHOS. Theatre: Made by Kids

Welcome to Cardboard Box Theatre by BHOS!

At Cardboard Box Theatre by BHOS, we offer children aged 5-16 the chance to explore the magic of theatre-making in a fun, inclusive, and creative environment. 🎭✨

From acting and directing to designing costumes, creating sets, and learning about lighting and sound, our hands-on weekly theatre club allows children to dive into every aspect of theatre production. Our 12-week programme is designed to build confidence, teamwork, and creativity, all while having fun!

Free Taster Sessions
Curious about what we do? At the beginning of every term, we offer a FREE taster session to give children a chance to experience the magic of theatre-making before enrolling.

During the free taster session, your child will:

Perform in exciting drama games and activities 🎬
Design and create their own set pieces 🎨
Explore costumes and props 👗
Discover how lighting and sound work behind the scenes 💡🎶
This is the perfect opportunity to see what our theatre club is all about and find out if it’s the right fit for your child.

Our 12-Week Programme

At Cardboard Box Theatre, we believe children should be involved in every aspect of theatre production. Each term, your child will work with others to:

Write and develop an original play.
Perform in a final production at our 80-seat theatre.
Design their own sets, costumes, and props.
Manage backstage elements like lighting, sound, and scene changes.
Our programme gives children the opportunity to grow not only as performers but as creative thinkers and team players. It’s a great way to build self-confidence and discover new talents, both on and off the stage.
